Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival

Join Fairmont Sonoma and the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Foundation for the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, celebrating 200 years of Sonoma Valley wine. Weekend festivities include a 5k fun run, live music & arts festival, Sonoma Valley grape stomp and the ever-popular Grand Tasting. Event proceeds go towards the SVVGA Foundation in support of charities, grants, and scholarships in the Sonoma Valley.

Thursday, September 26

• Vintage Movie Night at Sebastiani Theater – Featuring Jack London’s “Call of the Wild,” embark on a journey through Sonoma’s vinicultural history and the storied legacy of the Sebastiani Theater.

Friday, September 27

• Sonoma Valley Harvest Dinner at Gundlach Bundschu  – This exclusive evening will highlight Sonoma Valley’s most notable wineries & winemakers. The 3-course dinner will feature an incredible library of rare & vintage wines, hosted at one of Sonoma’s most historic wineries.

Saturday, September 28

• 5K Fun Run  – Gather friends & family for an exciting 5k around the historic Sonoma Plaza and surrounding neighborhoods.
• Blessing of the Grape, Historic Grape Stomp, Firefighter Water Fights, Artisans Festival & Live Music – Join Sonoma Valley wineries, makers and artisans for an afternoon of great food and local fun! Most events are free to the public, please click here for more info.
• Grand Tasting at the Sonoma Barracks – The Sonoma Valley Grand Tasting is your opportunity to experience the Sonoma Valley’s incredible diversity of wines and growing regions with an impressive collection from over 40 wineries.
